I saw this on twitter a few weeks ago and it had me thinking…

My Japanese son had an interesting observation the other day. He said, “I would never want to be a doctor in the U.S. because if I worked hard and cured a sick person, they’d attribute it to God instead of thanking me for saving the person’s life.”

Just an example… your faith controlled by the region you come from? Usually, that has been my experience. Especially living in Japan.

Anyway, growing up one way versus another really shapes your character, but how willing are you to step outside those boundaries? You may not even notice how much it controls you until you leave your comfort zone.

Hope you get what I’m saying. *vague* I know.
